About the Role: As a Software Developer at Adaptavist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining ScriptRunner Cloud products. You will contribute to engineering best practices within the team, ensuring the reliability and scalability of the products. With a focus on continuous integration and delivery, you will see new functionality through the entire development cycle, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and monitoring in production. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with product teams to support, investigate, and resolve issues in production, maintaining high service level guarantees.

What We’re Looking For: To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

• Experience in at least one backend language (such as Java, Python, PHP) and one front-end JavaScript/TypeScript framework (such as React, Angular, Vue).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with people across different time zones, proactively seeking help when needed, and independently working on tasks.
• Experience with CI/CD practices for delivering software.
• Experience working in an Agile team.
• Experience working with and building services in AWS (experience with other cloud providers will also be considered).
